European Evangelical Alliance

EEA-logo

The European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) brings together both the national Evangelical Alliances of Europe and a large number of pan-European mission agencies. It has existed as a regional group since the 1950′s, but traces its roots to the 1846 conference at which the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) was established. It is the European section of the WEA. The EEA represents 15 million European evangelicals from 35 countries to the European Union. The EEA Brussels office offers a representative voice; advancing biblical beliefs and values, addressing public concerns and advocating for justice. EEA’s voice includes its engagement with pan European faith communities, the European Union institutions and various bodies and behind-the-scenes diplomacy with governments, as well as its engagement with the media on European issues.
